Dance Festival

Nyah had her dance festival at school today. It was so cute. Each grade does a different dance. I love how Nyah got out in the front of the other kids. I guess she really does live to dance.

Memorial Day Weekend

What a great Memorial Day weekend we had. Our friends invited us to their condo in St. George along with our other friends the Gregorys. Friday morning around 1 am Adelynn woke up and asked if it was time to go. She continued doing this every 20 minutes for the rest of the night.

We had such a great time. The weather was perfect. The kids loved the pool and thanks to the Dads for taking them twice a day.

We had fun swimming and there was a lot of tricks going on in the water. Half the time my stomach hurt from laughing so hard from all the fancy twist and jumps that was going on.

Nyah also learned to play baseball and kickball. She loved it she said this was her favorite part of the trip. I guess we better buy a bat and ball.

Monday before we headed out of town we stopped at a museum of some guys hunting expedition. The kids and guys had a great time us ladies had our own tour going on. Which was quite funny. When we got in the car Nyah cried for five minutes because she didn't want to go home. Thank you Cooks for a Great weekend.

Adelynn's Last Day of School

Adelynn finished her first year of preschool. She had such a great year. She has learned and grown so much over the past year. I know she will miss class and her teacher Mrs. Clark. They ended the year with a circus party.

Adelynn's Tumbling Performance

Adelynn had her tumbling performance today. She started it out by making Mike and I laugh. I wish I would have got that part on tape. Her teacher Miss Heather called her name for her turn to run out and do her trick. Well Adelynn just peeked her head from around the corner and said "I can't I'm to stared (scared)" then hide again. It was so cute Mike and I started laughing. Once she got out there she did really good.

Adelynn's Quote of the Week

Adelynn cracks me up! This is what she wore to preschool today. She was telling me that when she gets to school all the kids are going to start singing how she looks so fabulous (yes, I think she has watched High School Musical a few to many times). Then she said "mom when I walk my skirt pops".

Kindergarten Graduation

Nyah Graduated from Kindergarten! Graduation was so cute. They sang the cutest songs along with a little program. Nyah was a dancer in one of the songs. She did a great job. After the program we headed back to Miss Robbins room for a picture show and Graduation.

We are so proud of Nyah she has really grown up this year.


I should have used my waterproof make-up. I must of cried three different times.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was great! My kids and husband did a great job at making me feel special. I love my girls I couldn't imagine my life with out them. Being a mother is the greatest blessing.

Thank you girls for the home made gifts I will truly treasure them forever!

Adelynn's Quote of the Week

After Adelynn's dance recital Nyah had a birthday part to go to and Ella was home with a babysitter so we decided it would be fun to take Adelynn out to celebrate her first performance with just Mom and Dad. A little one on one which Adelynn hardly ever gets. We asked Adelynn were she wanted to eat. Adelynn said the place were are there are bakers and fire. Mike and I looked at each other and said Tepanyaki. She said Yes. She got the noodles and rice, her favorite. When we were done eating we got in the car and Adelynn said look at my bellybutton it is smiling it loved the noodles.

Spring Dance Recital

Saturday May 2, 2009 was Nyah and Adelynn's Spring Dance Recital. They both did so good! I love to watch them dance they are so beautiful. Adelynn performed one dance and Nyah performed two dances.
