The Gingerbread boy

Nyah's little first grade class put on a little play called the Gingerbread boy. It was so cute they all had a little speaking part and then they sang a few cute songs. It was darling. We were so proud of Nyah for getting up in front of everyone and doing her part and singing her little heart out.

Adelynn's Quote of the Week

Adelynn asked Santa for a Vanity. She had seen the vanity in a catalog and she had a hard time remembering what it was called. Well her babysitter asked her what she wanted for Christmas, Adelynn said "a make-up van".

The Excitement Continues

The excitement continues. Someone sneaky is doing what I can only assume is the twelve days of Christmas to us. Today was day four and I must say I think I just might be a little more excited for the doorbell to ring then the kids. I'm having so much fun seeing what cleaver thing they will think of next. Tonight we got some darling homemade pillowcases. It's fun to be surprised. I think as adults we really don't get that many surprises, so it's making me feel like a kid again. All excited and giddy like I was on Christmas when I was little. I told the girls that we are going to have to do it to someone next year because we are having so much fun having it done to us.

My Christmas Goat

Oh my poor Christmas tree! Now I can see how maybe the large lollipop looks like it might taste good but really the other ornament too. After a few weeks of finding them laying around the house half eaten I finally caught Miss Ella in the act..

Gingerbread House

Tonight we decorated our gingerbread house. This year was more successful, it didn't cave in. The girls had a good time. Ella was funny she wouldn't use her fingers delicately to put candy on she would use the palm of her hand.

Alyse is 7 weeks old

Alyse is 7 weeks old now. This week she started to smile! I tried to capture it on camera but no such luck.

Adelynn's Christmas Program

We are all so proud of Adelynn, her school performance was so cute!

My favorite part about this program was Adelynn walking around the house for days singing the songs she had been learning.

Mike got his Buffalo

We are so excited Mike got his Buffalo!

I'm even more excited that he was home in four days instead of ten. I was starting to get the eye twitch from crazy kids that needed their dad.

Movie Party

We had a pizza and movie party will Mike was away. Ashley and her little girl Alynah and Nyah's friend Halle joined us in the craziness. We had a great time!

Christmas Party

It was time once again for our annual friend Christmas party. Mike and three other husbands were gone with Mike on his buffalo hunt. We were supposed to wear a fugly Christmas sweater. Well we thought it would be funny to make the shirts with our husbands pictures on it and it said above it "got Scrooged". The party was fun but our husbands were missed.
