We did it, we took a family vacation!! We decided to drive, we have only taken trips that are about 5 or less hours away so I was worried about a 10 hour trip. I'm happy to say that it was doable. The little ones did great!
For the first three nights we stayed with Mike's sister Mechelle in California.

(Yes that is Makayla in the middle all grown up.)

We had so much fun with the Welch family. The kids are growing up so fast and what great kids. Our girls had the best time playing with their cousins.
We did lots of relaxing and had great food. We even got to join the Welch family in their huge Super Bowel Party, were we got to meet 50 of their friends and family.
Paul and Mechelle were so good to us it was hard to say goodbye. Hopefully we can see them more often now that we know the kids can tolerate the car ride.

The girls with Paul and Mechelle.

Mike with Carson and Cooper.

Monday we were off to Disneyland were we where meeting our friends the Harris's. The girls were so excited to go on rides and see all the characters.

Mike even found himself enjoying the family vacation (fighting off the wild animals).

We had so much fun for four days going on rides and spending time together as a family and with our friends. We had tons of good laughs and of course we have four girls so there was some tears.

Nyah was able to go on all the rides this year. She was tall enough! She loves roller-coasters! I'm so happy I have someone to ride with that doesn't get motion sick. Adelynn could go on almost every ride. There was only one or two that she was not quite tall enough to ride. Ella and Alyse were perfectly happy with the rides they were tall enough to ride. Every ride we took Ella on she would say I hate this. Then she went on it's a Small World and her face was beaming, she was smiling from ear to ear. She told Mike that she liked that one.

Alyse's favorite part was walking! She loved being big and walking to the next thing. She liked the characters from a distance but not up close. She would swat at them and scream if they got to close.

Ella loved the princesses. I felt so bad, we went to lunch with the princesses and she was so excited to see Snow White. When it was just about our trun to see Snow White Ella had to go to the bathroom. She was so excited there was no way she was going to be able to hold it. She did miss Snow White but as soon as she saw Cinderella she no longer cared who she didn't see.

The kids all got along really well and were great to do anything that anyone else wanted to do.

We had a great time! Thank you Harris Family for joining us in Disneyland. We have so many fun memories!
