Look out here comes Adelynn!

This is truly a day I never thought would happen. Adelynn just never showed any interest in riding her bike without training wheels she even commented ones that she loved those three wheel bikes. Every time I asked her if she wanted to try riding Nyah's bike or taking the training wheels of hers she would say no.

I'm not sure what got in her today. I had just dropped Nyah off at a friends and the little ones were down sleeping and I asked her if she wanted to try riding Nyah's bike and she said Yeah sure. I couldn't believe my ears. We worked on it for awhile then Alyse woke up but she was so close I know if we kept trying she would have it down in no time. I just held Alyse and away we went up and down the sidewalk. It didn't take to much longer and she did it! She took off! It was so cute she was singing a song she learned at school (I noticed when she started singing I was ok to let go of the seat). I'm so proud of you Adelynn I know that one day it would be your day, and it would click and you would have it in you to ride a two wheeled bike!

A Visit from my Grandparents

We were so lucky to have my Grandma and Grandpa Roberts in town to spend some time with us. My Grandpa had a doctors appointment in Salt Lake so when they got done they came over and had dinner and spent the night with us. We all really enjoyed having them over. We don't get to see them that often so when we do we jus eat it up. I had fun staying up with my Grandma past midnight just talking. The next morning the kids didn't want to see them go.

Alyse took a liking to my Grandpa they became great pals. He walked her all around the house and outside.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa we loved having you over to our house. Please come again soon.

Alyse is 11 Months Old

Oh my sweet baby! Were has time gone, it's true the older you get the fast time goes. These pictures are really supposed to be Alyse's 10 month ones, but by the time I had them taken, went back and picked them up and up dated my blog holly cow she is 11 months now.
Sweet Alyse when you were born another Angle truly entered the earth. You are so, so sweet. I don't ever want to put you done. I just want to hold and cuddle you. You always have a big smile from ear to ear. You have touched everyone in your family.
I love walking in a room and having you see me or your dad because you go crazy screaming and bouncing. You love having Nyah pack you around. You think Adelynn is the funniest thing in the world, she just has to look at you and you are over come with laughter. However I don't think anyone holds a candle to the way you feel about Ella. I'm sure it's because your not sure what will happen next after she enters the room but you just love her!
You love crawling everywhere and you have started to find that thing open and sometimes there is treasures to be found on the inside. I love your face when something opens up it is truly priceless. I predict that you will be walking before you turn one. You want so bad to keep up with your sisters and to play and be just like them.
Sweet baby girl we love you!

Daddy Couldn't be more Proud

The whole ten days Mike was gone Ella packed around a picture of Mike and asked when he would be home. After I would tell her how many more days she would then say "I shoot my bb gun when he home". As far as were she came up with this I'm not sure she doesn't have a bb gun nor has she ever shot one, but boy did it make Mike proud.

A few days after Mike got home he surprised her with a "bb gun" (the cap gun is smaller easier for her to pack so we told her it was a bb gun). She cracks me up she packs this gun with her everywhere. She loves it! If anyone comes over it's the first thing she shows them.
Well Bells happy hunting!

Trip to Idaho

We had a opened Labor day weekend and after sleeping a good 10 hours I must have gotten a wild hair. I packed the girls up in the car and we headed to Idaho.
My Dad's sister Carol and her husband Long were in town from Texas so they had lots of fun things planned for the weekend. When we got to my Aunt Pat's House they were in the middle of a golf tournament so we joined in on my Dad's team. After golf they celebrated Christmas. The kids loved this because Grandpa bought them each a gift. I had so much fun visiting with Aunts and Uncles and catching up with cousins I had not seen in about five year.
We visited my Mom after the party she was surprised to see us so that made it fun.
Sunday we woke up early and drove with my Dad's family to Jackson Hole. We had a great time in Jackson. We ate, shopped, road the Alpine slide (Adelynn likes to go faster then me so next time I will pick a different partner to ride down with.) and walked around seeing sights. We had a fun filled day. The girls and I headed over to my Aunt Susan's house on the way home to visit with my Mom's side of the family. It was great seeing everyone there too. We had dessert which I should have skipped after hitting the candy store in Jackson Hole, but I didn't and it was good.
Labor day we woke up and went and visited my mom then headed out of town before the traffic got to crazy plus Mike was on his way home from his hunt in Colorado, we were really excited to see him he has been gone for 10 days.
All in all our no plans weekend turned into a fun filled one, thank heavens I got that good night sleep on Friday night.

Adelynn's First Day of Kindergarten

Adelynn started Kindergarten today! She was really excited to start school she had to wait for a week after Nyah started (They do testing to see were the kids are at. On our way to this Adelynn was worried she wouldn't know the answers I told her not to worry she would do great. When she got done she said "Mom she asked me what equaled 6 and I told her 5, I did it I just knew it". I just laughed and said yes, yes it does.) On the way to the school she started to get really nervous. I told her she would do great. When we got to the school she still was nervous. I was lucky to get out of that class room with out her. She did not want me to leave.
When I picked her up from school she said that she had fun. I was happy that she liked school. She loves her teacher all ready. She got Miss Robbins the same teacher Nyah had for Kindergarten.

I wish it got easier to drop her off, but it hasn't. I have to pill her of me and sometimes she cries, it brakes my heart. I've had to us bribery just so she doesn't cry. It's not that she doesn't like school because when she gets home she has had a great day. She just really and truly loves being at home.

Nyah's First Day of School

Back to school. Nyah was excited and scared at the same time. She was really happy about who she got, Mrs. Gordon but she was nervous because she didn't know anyone in her class. I told her she would do great (she is so sweet and beautiful), she would make new friends. However her being nervous made me want to cry, I don't like it when my kids are unhappy. I wanted to spy on her just to make sure she was happy. Lets face it I would make a terrible spy I have three little kids they would give me away for sure.

Sure enough she got home from school and had tons of fun and couldn't wait to go to school again tomorrow.
I'm so happy she is liking second grade. I can't believe she is already in second grade, time sure flys. Wow she is sure growing up.

Last days of Summer Vacation

We had two days left of summer vacation so we decided to go to the local splash park in Highland (the pool is to crazy with the two little ones). We invited my sister in law Melanie and her little ones. When we pulled up it was a little breezy and I looked at my temperature gage and it said 69 degrees. Are you kidding me! It's August! I asked the kids if they wanted to go to the park and they said no we want to play in the water. I told them it's going to be cold but they couldn't be persuaded.
Despite the frigged temperature for August the kids had a great time. I'm glad they had fun and didn't let the weather get them down or the fact that their lips were blue.

The last day of summer I asked Nyah what she wanted to do to end her summer she said she wanted to go to the dinosaur museum. Mike worked from the phone so he could join us. The kids had a great time.
After the museum we went for ice cream. I think it was a great end to our summer.

I'm not like most Moms, I don't cheer when they leave for school. I'm sorry I think it's harder to load all the kids in the car to run them to and from school 4 times a day. Plus the homework, not that I do it for them but I have to sit and help them. When they don't understand man I want to poke my eyes out. Well girls I hope you had a great summer because I sure did with you.
