Run Mike Run

Over the weekend Mike ran the Ragnar relay series. The race runs the Wasatch Back they started in Logan and ran to Park City for a total of 188 miles. Mike had three legs in the race. We are so proud of him. He ran his legs so fast he did a great job. His first leg was at 5 pm Friday night then again at 3 am.

His final leg was Sat around 1pm. He ran so hard on this one that he had 16 kills (which means he passed 16 people). Wow, way to go Mike we are so proud of you. The girls and I will be happy to meet you at the finish line any time.

It's A Girl!!

Nyah lost another Tooth

Nyah lost another tooth. The funny thing is her two top teeth are loose so I was wiggling them for her. Then she said here just a minute and I think she went to wiggle it with her bottom tooth when she says oh no my tooth just broke. I said what let me see. She turned her back and said just a minute I don't want you to touch it. Two seconds later she is holding it in her hand. Her bottom tooth came out not even one of the ones we were wiggling. That brings the count to 4 bottom teeth total.

Adelynn's Quote of the Week

When we were in Idaho I stopped at Reid's Dairy to get some milk when we got out of the car Adelynn said "oh, it stinks here". I said well there are cows here. Adelynn said "why are there cows here"? I said because its a Dairy and that's how they get the milk. Then Adelynn's face dropped and she said "but they poop"! I thought oh no now she is never going to drink milk again. However now worries when we got back to Grandpa's house she asked for a cup of strawberry milk.

Our Trip to Idaho

Mike went to Lake Powell with the Young Men for a few days so I asked the girls what they wanted to do while Dad was gone. They said a few different ideas then Nyah said lets go see Grandpa and Grandma Fell. I said you really want to and they all started screaming and jumping up and down. We packed things up and headed to Idaho to surprise the Grandparents. They were so surprised to see us. I'm sure by the next day after Ella had broken stuff and up rooted all of Grandmas plants they were thinking other wise.
We had a great time. We got to see Great Grandma and Grandpa Roberts two days in a row, which was great because we haven't seen them since Thanksgiving. The girls love a song that Great Grandpa Roberts sings to them and bounces them on his knee. I'm sure his legs got a month of exercise in just two days.

We even got to meet up with my Aunt Susan and Cousin Rebecca and her two little guys. We went with them to Leo's for lunch the kids had so much fun running and playing they were all sweating by the time it was time to go. Adelynn had so much fun with Rebecca's little boy named Lincoln that she asked if we could take him home with us.

Saturday morning before we left we went over to the Green Belt to feed the ducks with Grandma and Grandpa Fell. The kids loved feeding the ducks. Adelynn even petted one and feed him out of her hands. I told her to be careful she is my brave one. ( I could just envision when I was little being chased and hissed at).

Ella was funny she would throw some bread then take a bight then throw some more.

All in all we had a fast fun visit.

Nyah's 6 Year Pictures

I just love the studio called Pretty Pictures in American Fork. I think they do a great job. Nyah had so much fun having her pictures taken she didn't want to stop she asked the lady if they could do some more. Here are just a few of my favorite ones.

Yes, those are Nyah's real eye color (no photoshop was used). I love how blue they are they take my breath away.

Nyah you are so beautiful both inside and out. We love you so much.

Fishing Trip

Mike took the girls fishing tonight. They were so excited all day to go. Nyah has been before so she was telling Adelynn all about it. I was worried they were going to get rained out but the weather was perfect for fishing. Nyah landed the first fish of the night. After awhile of fishing Mike started to pack up when Adelynn's pole got hit. She was so excited she started to bring it in but her little arms got tired she told Mike she needed his help. Adelynn's Cat fish was the biggest it was 18" long. Way to go girls! Show Dad how to catch those fish.

Popsicles

Kaylee and Kage stopped by today. After we played outside for a little while we cooled down with some popsicles. I thought this picture was so cute of all the kids together.

Adelynn's Quote of the Day

We were driving in the car to take Mike a drink and out of the blue Adelynn almost in tears says "mom I'm growing hair on my arms, why is there hair on my arms". I told her it was ok everyone gets hair on their arms.

Schools out for Summer

School is out for summer so we decided to kick the summer off with a new tradition. The tradition is on the last day of school we are going to have homemade pizza and watch movies. Then we have a slumber party in the family room with the whole family.
We had so much fun. I think this will be a great tradition that the kids will look forward to every year.
