Alyse's Baby Blessing

We blessed Alyse today at the house. It was a small gathering of family and close friends. It was the neatest baby blessing I've ever been to(not that my other girlses blessing weren't wonderful). The spirit that filled the room was truly amazing. Mike did a great job blessing Alyse. I love him for the ability he has to perform this honor. After the blessing the Bishop had me share my testimony. I surprisingly enjoyed this. It's not as intimidating in front of close friends and family. Then he had anyone else share if they wanted to.

It really was a special afternoon. Mike and I are so blessed to live in such a great ward and neighborhood. We have so many dear friends that we consider family.

Dance America Competition

Nyah had another dance competition. This one was Dance America. Nyah and her team did great! They took first in their Hip Hop dance and second in their Jazz dance. Their Hip Hop dance is oh so cute, just the night before they performed it at Loan Peck High School and got a standing ovation.

Way to go Nyah!

Ella's 2 Birthday!

Happy 2nd Birthday Ella!

You are so big and full of life. Your spirit is way to big for your little body. You bring so much joy to our home and our lives. I saw the little ladybug party collection and I had to get it for you it said "ladybug, ladybug oh so sweet" and I thought of you and how sweet and tender you are.

I made the cake again this year I think it turned out ok the frosting kept getting to warm. But really the only thing that mattered was it was really yummy.

Mike brought home the bouquet of balloons for Ella she was so excited that she almost started to cry. I felt bad for little Bell by the time we started her party she was so tired she really didn't get to into the party. However she loved opening her gifts.

And yes she got the baby with the pacifier and bottle that she wanted oh so bad. Bell had a wonderful day. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Fell and Jared Bagley for helping us celebrate Ella's Birthday.

Alyse is 4 months old

Alyse is already 4 months old. Time sure has gone by fast. I keep saying shes a new born but I really don't think she is any more. She is strong enough to sit in her bumbo! She is always smiling and now she laughs alot more. She loves to lay on her mat that has the toys above her. She will just lay there kicking and grabbing the toys she talks to them too. She is getting so big! We love you sweet angle!

Benefit Concert

Nyah dances for the Pointe Performing Arts Academy and they put on a benefit concert last night for Autism. Nyah danced twice in the program. The first dance was her tap dance, this was their first time performing this dance and they just started learning it a little over a month ago and they did a great job. Her second dance was their hip hop dance, I just love this dance they are so cute.

Be My Valentine

We had a great Valentine's weekend thanks to our Valentine Mike. I've decided that Sunday is a great day for Valentine's Day we got to celebrate all weekend long.

It started with Friday Mike and I went out for dinner and a movie. The kids had a great time too. Adelynn's school had a Valentine party for them and their siblings so the parents could go out on a date. We took full advantage of this.

Saturday Mikes parents came over so Mike cooked us all steak and crab legs. Everything was so good. He made the whole meal all by himself. He even cleaned up!!

Sunday - Valentine's day Mike made us all breakfast then he surprised me with Roses and Chocolate (me has never given me chocolate before). My two favorite things.

That afternoon we headed over to the Gunn's house for dinner. It was so yummy! After dinner the kids all decorated sugar cookies. I think all their cookies had more frosting and candy then cookie. I think they have the right idea because Adelynn made one for me and it was so good.

Thanks Mike for being a great Valentine! Me and the girls all love you so much!

Dance Competition

Nyah had a her first dance competition today. I was so worried about her because she had to be in Ogden by 8 am which meant we had to leave our house by 6:30 am. She did great she jumped out of bed with a big smile and got ready quickly. I would have never guess my non morning person would have been so bright and happy. The whole family got to cheer

They did so good! Hip hop got 1st and Jazz got 2nd!!! Against four other teams. Then their Hip Hop dance took 1st place overall in their age group!!! I'm so proud of Nyah she knows her dances and loves to perform and it shows.
