We blessed Alyse today at the house. It was a small gathering of family and close friends. It was the neatest baby blessing I've ever been to(not that my other girlses blessing weren't wonderful). The spirit that filled the room was truly amazing. Mike did a great job blessing Alyse. I love him for the ability he has to perform this honor. After the blessing the Bishop had me share my testimony. I surprisingly enjoyed this. It's not as intimidating in front of close friends and family. Then he had anyone else share if they wanted to.
It really was a special afternoon. Mike and I are so blessed to live in such a great ward and neighborhood. We have so many dear friends that we consider family.-February 28, 2010
