February is Flying by

Wow! February is flying by so fast we have had a lot of fun.
Sunday the 15 after church we decided to head down to St. George. We had a great time. Sunday we got there late so we just went and grabbed something to eat then headed back to the hotel. Monday morning Mike and the girls went swimming. Then we hung out with our friends the Gunn's, had some lunch, and did some shopping. We started to head out of town when Mike got thinking that the weather was going to be bad on Tuesday so we turned back around to stay another night. We got another hotel and headed swimming again. The girls had so much fun they didn't want to get out. Finally we bribed them with popcorn and a movie.
We had a great mini vacation. I think we could just drive up the road and stay in a hotel we don't have to go far for the girls to have fun all they really want is to stay in a hotel.
Feb. 8, Ella started doing the cutest thing. She started giving hugs it's so sweet. She wraps her little arms around your neck and squeezes. Oh it just melts my heart. She is getting so big.
Feb. 9, Nyah had another cheer competition. She did great we are so proud of her. She loves to perform and it shows when she is out there.
Feb. 5, Mike and I got our passports! This is so exciting I feel like we are free now to go and do. Now all we have to do is go and do. I can't wait!
Feb. 2, As a family we visited the Draper Temple open house. The Temple was so beautiful. Adelynn was so funny she was so scared she thought that she was getting baptized right then and she wasn't sure how she felt about that. It was cute. Ella was waving at all the pictures of Jesus. Nyah just loved everything. We had a great time, it was fun being at the temple as a family.

Fun St George get away! You are right, a hotel is all the kids need for a fun get away.

Sounds like a great month so far! I bet that was fun to get out of town. Remeber when we did that years ago when Nyah and Porter were so little, we just picked up and went spur of the moment, that was fun!
The Temple is gorgeous, my kids enjoyed it too.
Love ya!
