Happy 4th of July! We took our annual trip to Idaho with our friends the Gregorys and the Bagleys. We had such a great time.
I made all the little girls matching flip flops. 
We took a trip to the Zoo. The Idaho Falls Zoo is great. All the animals were out and there was plenty of shade. I think our favorite animal was the large turtle. The zoo keeper was in with him scratching him on his neck and he was standing up with his head stretched as high as it would go. The guys were all really impressed with the bears. The bears were up on their back legs fighting.

We also made a stop at the Fun Zone. We all had a go-cart race. The kids all raced and the women all raced, then the guys raced. I think the guys were the most competitive. They were fun to watch.
We ended the day with a firework show. From the Gregorys hotel room you could climb on the roof. So we watched the fireworks from there.
Sunday our last day of our trip we stopped off in Lava Hot Springs were almost everyone floated down the river. What a great little get away. Thanks guys for another fun 4th of July!

This is such a great tradition Keri. Your kids are going to LOVE all these memories! I bet one day you'll be doing this with your grandkids too ;-)
